Around the World

Traveling Girl Scout discovered that the world is small even if the states and countries are far apart.  She thought the world was really big.

Traveling Girl Scout connected with my family by traveling to Australia for a visit.  She also visited many countries on Thinking Day 2012; such as: Japan, Brazil, China, Portugal, Fiji, Peru, Egypt, Mexico and Ireland.

Traveling Girl Scout took action in communicating with different people and learned about their world, language, food and different cultures.  She greeted everyone with a smile and made many new friends.

She visited the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, San Francisco Chinatown, NorCAL"S Thinking Day at Alameda County Fairgrounds, sold Girl Scout Cookies with fellow girls, and had Flat Stanley visit from Kokohead Elementary School in Hawaii Kai.
